Boy did I have fun experimenting with image editing and digital art software this week. The last few days I spent exploring the complex world that is Photoshop and Illustrator. There was definitely a learning curve but with a few Adobe tutorials and many hours of practice I managed to get to a point where my imagination was the only limit to my creations. I had promised my mom a portrait of our family dog (Lebron is his name) since Christmas and had been dreading doing it. However, our instructions this week finally gave me the incentive to tackle it! Not only did I learn to use photoshop to paint a picture of my pup but I also got to use my new awareness of amazing Creative Commons images to conjure up fun scenes with my new creation.
